Q: Oblivion overhaul, Non-experienced player

I'm going to play TES Oblivion again (been a couple of years) and looking for a good overhaul for a non-experienced TES player. I heard that OOO was very good but also hard. I'm also considering the newer maskars overhaul. For what overhaul should I go and what mods do you like to combine with it...
