Ugh, it seems to fall off in boss fights.

You do clear mobs fast, but single-target damage is laughable.

Even in boss fights with mobs like the Skeleton King.

I do clear the groups pretty quickly, but damage kinda sucks after that.

Yeah, it's great for big mob groups, like Cursed Chests and whatnot, but I think I'm gonna switch to Heaven's Fury when I'm doing boss runs.

@Yuki The wrath spenders are all garbage.

I use Blessed Hammer because it's the least garbage, with the same runes @Chippies mentioned.

I got a legendary that made Blessed Shield free and it was still garbage.

@StrixVaria Part of the price of making legendaries more common made them both less useful and less rare. Why does this surprise you?

I want to like Shield Charge or whatever the first one was, but it seems bugged so it doesn't hit enemies in the AoE for now.

@Powerlord I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. My problem is with the skill, not the legendary.

Assuming the skill wasn't utterly worthless, the legendary would be great.

The fix for the situation is to fix the skill, not the legendary.

When gemming, do shields count as Weapons or Other?

I mean, I know crit chance isn't as important, given Crusaders have Judgment...

@fredley in the distance, a number appears and fades away: 2.

@Yuki Crit chance is still important, because Judgment is only up for like 10% of the time.

Judgment is insane in a party but I don't know if I would still use it solo.

@StrixVaria 10% seems a bit low, maybe 30-40% is more accurate.

I mean, Judgment usually wipes out a pack so it comes off CD by the time I run into another pack.

@Yuki Enemies break crowd control effects faster on higher difficulties.

I guess that makes sense though; you're not going to be Judgmenting random white trash.

Although rifts can be really dense with elite mobs.

It sorta forces you to party up, which can be fun. Since you can trade drops with your party.

@Arperum It's great for mobility and getting the f--k out of Dodge.

@Arperum Correct!

Crusaders typically have lower mobility since most take the Heavenly Strength passive and so have 110% max movement speed rather than 125%.

Besides walking through enemies is a great "oh s--t" button.

It's good for getting you out of pinches when you're surrounded and all your skills are on CD.

@StrixVaria Is there a comparable Crusader build that doesn't use Heavenly Strength?

Also: hammerdin is back, the only reason that build was so overused in D2 was because OP as fuck.

It's an all right skill for mob clearing, which the Crusader honestly doesn't need more of, but it sucks for single-target damage like boss fights.

The only reason why people are picked Blessed Hammer is because pretty much all of the Crusader's Wrath spenders are mob clearing skills and Blessed Hammer does it better than the rest.

@Yuki Not specifically, it was quite the OP skill in D2, it could wipe nearly everything pretty fast. I'm just starting out a templar, so haven't seen much yet
