@Frank After the first day, I've given away or salvaged every legendary I've found.

@OrigamiRobot I've found several decent ones. A 6.0% Crit Chance Nagelring, some shoulders that make all the rest of my gear indestructible, a set fist weapon, you name it.

@Frank The ones I find are decent too, but not for my character. It'd be great if I didn't have to salvage or give them away.

(Also, indestructible is a worthless affix)

@OrigamiRobot It takes up one slot, for all my items. I'm not using them, but I thought it was neat.

@FAE It's a shame because Jetpack Joyride by them was great and non-naggy, and had a super cheap $1 "double your coins" thing which was the only permanent upgrade. It was still a fairly grindy endless runner but it was quite playable without paying or only paying $1. They upped the price of doubling coins but it's nothing like the prices in that new game

those microtransactions listed are like $100 before you've even bought any coins which are surely necessary

All the legendaries I was saving besides 1-2 are now worthless because I can't get rid of their garbage affixes for good ones.

@Frank I haven't even unlocked the third stash slot and haven't had an issue with space. Then again, I find that if an item isn't usable by me or an alt, and I wont use it for a different build, I trash it - legendary or otherwise.

and those 1-2 will be a 1% increase in damage

@Doc I have one page that's basically nothing but crafting materials and gems.

Another for rares, and the last for legendaries.

@Frank I've got one page for crafting/gems (which only takes up about 3/4ths of the page, the rest of the slots are filled with magic find gear) And one page of legendaries and such that I'm passing off to alts or holding for second builds.

I'll get a lot more enjoyment out of that $40 with Dark Souls 2 or MtG

With BoA, it was already an uphill battle. And now, everything I've been looking forward to in spite of that is turning out to not live up to my expectations.

Yeah, always online doesn't bother me either. In a game like Diablo 3 I'm always going to be online anyways.

Always online bothers me A) for when it negatively harms the gameplay experience (for when it's used to force "social" features a la new SimCity) B) in general because it makes a game inherently time-limited. I don't like games to disappear entirely when the servers shut down even if the game is mostly online multi anyway. Prefer stuff like UT99 where you can at least host your own server, even if no one's playing

Hey, does anyone remember in TF2 which of the Scout secondaries are usable in Medieval Mode? I want to say Mad Milk, but I'm not sure about Bonk, Crit-a-Cola, or the Cleaver thing.

If the game wasn't always online, an intrepid modder would have already been on the job to make Loot 2.0 better than what it used to be.

@Frank For Diablo3 it doesn't bother me because it's te kind of game where I'm always going to be online. I don't think I ever played Diablo 2 offline. even if I played solo I'd still make my character on battle.net.

Actually, I'm making this slightly smarter than Valve's logic by doing allowed weapons by classname instead of index, so when they do things like add holiday versions and reskins, mine automatically allows them.

I find nothing wrong with the fact that D3 expansion drops are already dropping. Lets you get a head start if you plan to play it. If you don't, you can trash the stuff (or give to a friend who's getting it I guess).
