I can't figure out how to assign spells to the quick spell slots. I tried to "long press" on the empty quick spell slot, then tap on the spell, but no dice.

Do I have to change any property from "true" to "false" in game file, or the game will detect if the controller is connected? (Then I can decide, if I should buy a wired controller for it or not).

It seems that there are skill checks early on in the game which are extremely difficult or impossible to pass because of the mood penalties making it hard to increase the relevant skill. Is it possible to pass all the skill tests? If it is, how do I optimise Elodie's skill gain in order to do so?

There is an attibute called power and the description says that increase the damage and heal powers but I don't understand how much. Every weapon has a damage, so, Should I understand that this attribute is added to the weapon base damage or the power only affect to some kind of skills?
