On an unrelated note: if you need to pick one image from a sublist in a DB, how many lines would you extract from the DB?

Because the code of this app I'm maintaining insists that you should take the whole table (700something), and then filter all completely irrelevant things out on the webserver(in ways that are too terrible to be told), AND then make it pick one at random from the remaining 4-5 results
