@RonanForman short term, the plan is that local game streaming covers that - most people will already have gaming machines, the steambox can act as a thin client to them.

Long term, presumably the plan is to get more developers supporting Linux. They've been leaning hard on that lately.

Rather than having to quit Steam, start windows!steam in Wine, and install and launch the game from there.

For a surprising amount of stuff these days, wine is plug-and-play, no fiddling needed
