I have Battlefield 3 and Sims3 on my origin account. My gf wants to play Sims on her pc, and I want to play BF3 online on my pc at the same time. Is it possible?
> Let’s have the consumer have access to all of these great games – Mario Kart 7, Animal Crossing – but do it in a 2D capability with a device that has a dramatically lower price point. That’s just an example of how we’re always thinking about, ‘how do we get more people playing games? How do we get more people playing Nintendo games?’”
Oh holy shit it actually removes 3D screens but not the 3D camera, which probably would have been more cost-savings (but probably would limit game compatability)
@fbueckert The size ain't much an issue to me because I don't nearly travel as much as I used to, and these days I carry enough luggage that a larger carry item isn't an issue to me.
@JasonBerkan I guess...and then in a couple years you have to buy a new one? Still seems dumb. Also small hands seem like a disaster for that design come to think of it
@GraceNote When do you start getting the option to continue doing dungeons instead of going back to town every time in Dragon's Crown? Also: Am I just too stupid to know how to use rune magic after the fairy starts coming with, or do you not start using it until a few dungeons later?
> +1 about license agreement, BUT you have 5 activations per game with Origin. Technically you're not violating it because you own the game and are playing one copy of one game on a separate computer than one copy of another game.
I'm playing as Poland at the beginning of CK2 without the Old gods expansion so 1066. A rebellion starts in Poland at the beginning of the game or 1 or 2 years after. What is the best way to successfully win the rebellion without screwing up vital battles. Or is there anyway of preventing the reb...
Basically, each level improves your stats to a small degree and gives you a skill point, skill points buy skills that either enhance things, give a new maneuver, or are semi-consumeables.
@Sterno Incredible! My college roommate lived in Indiana for a while (although I don't know where) and said that he felt really out of place being the only liberal.
Your experience gained in a stage is one of the two things that "Score" does in the game. You get some multiplier of your score based on difficulty that is translated to your experience, which actually kinda scales to the level points for the difficulty levels to be gin with.
The Friday night activity in Terre Haute was to load a couch or two into the back of your pickup truck, have your friends pile in, and drive up and down Wabash Avenue all night long. THey called it "bashing".
@GnomeSlice Yeah. So as college students, our Friday night activity was driving up Wabash Avenue to make fun of the "bashers". We didn't grasp the irony of the situation at the times.
@GraceNote I just assumed I couldn't, though I could ask.
I'm up to about level 10 and so far have just been plopping points into skills almost at random, to try them out. Am I going to regret not saving these points for higher-level skills, or is there a way to respec my character? So far the game sort of seems to unlock new things as I go (like the ma...
I also might end up asking a question about the mushroom spores quest for the 3rd dungeon, because after revisiting it I only got 2 spores, making me think I'm doing it wrong.
@Sterno It's google-able but quite frankly I think it's something we benefit to having available, especially the extra note I pointed out that my brother was unaware of (back when he googled it and didn't tell me the answer he got).
I don't know why it didn't occur to me before, but I learned today you can use the left stick to move the hand cursor over your stats when viewing them to see a description of what they were.
I learned that after having no idea what they did and googling it :P
I'm quite glad Xillia does that considering they not only have Strength AND Vitality, but also Dexterity AND Agility...and also Psyche AND Intelligence
Is there a way to ping your mobile if there is activity on your question or answer?
I think it would require a SE app. But bottom line is everything is more and more mobile/tablet/phablet. I normally try to hang around once I have posted something. But it could become moot to keep refreshing th...
