I will however, have time again after next Tuesday to get a new blog post out for next Thursday. :)

No worries @TomWijsman, I've been swamped by exams as well. Tomorrow's (today's depending on where you are) post is almost ready.

Depending on @SimonSheehan's workload, we may have a QotW ready for Monday, or we may not. I might have time to write one if he doesn't.

@rebeccachernoff we've got a weird issue with the blog. I've figured out the problem but want permission before continuing as it involves user permissions.

At some point it was decided that most users should have the Contributor privilege level, and only a few should be editors/administrators. @jcrawfordor is writing a post for tomorrow and found that you can't upload images to wordpress if you're a contributor. I looked at the wordpress permissions chart and it looks like that's by-design. I'm wondering if it's OK to upgrade all our posters to Author from Contributor.

The problem is that would enable them to publish without review, and we don't want that, because we want editors to review things before they're published, and it would also allow them to delete their posts once published.

So yeah... not sure what to do. Do we just have them upload to imgur and insert image links in the HTML?

it doesn't have to be nearly as detailed as your answer. basically, quote the question, say something about how it's the question of the week, and talk a bit about your answer. but if they want all the epic details, they need to go read your post :P

QOTW go up Monday? so I'll try and actually be on schedule and finish it tomorrow, since my weekend will be weird (flying back to NMT and reuniting with friends, etc)
