God this baseball bat is so fun
I mean -$5 but still
It takes your overkill weapon slot too which is normally like a grenade launcher
So the cops still do their "where did they get THAT" lines
Like idk man, probably a sporting goods store
@Unionhawk What game is this?
Payday 3
They added Jacket from Hotline Miami again
With full tape recorder voice line glory
With a bunch of different voices now, American male horror movie trailer narrator, female language learning tape voice, female telephone operator, British male stage actor (or I guess he's probably like an audiobook narrator), and David Attenborough
But all the lines are very good, I was always a Chains main instead of the chicken man but I think I'm going to swap
Change it up
Oh it's a radio play voice, aha
00:33
@Unionhawk ah right. I forgot about payday 3. I'm so used to you talking about OSRS
That one is a touch jarring actually, to go from "The following is approved for mature audiences only" to like "SUBMIT TO MY WILL!" but it's still good
01:19
@Unionhawk What's the gameplay loop like for that? Can you rob anything you want, or are you only able to do story missions the game gives you?

@Otaku It's a 4 player co-op shooter with optional stealth elements, so yeah it's set maps
I think there's... like 15 of them?
Including, I suppose, 2 mandatory loud, 1 mandatory stealth
With, actually 1 secret that I've never actually done but, seems cool
There's a secret painting in the art gallery that requires a coordinated crew of at least 3 to steal 3 specific statues at the same time, and then navigate a laser maze visible only to a camera operator. All in stealth.

Q: Can the Judgement Tarot Card create a Legendary Joker?

StevoisiakThe description of the Judgement Tarot Card says Creates a random Joker card (Must have room) I've seen Judgement generate Common, Uncommon, and Rare Jokers, but I've only ever gotten a Legendary Joker from The Soul Spectral Card. Is it possible to get a Legendary Joker when using the Judgement...

@Unionhawk I think I saw some ranting about this. Is that the "you don't have online friends to play with so no achievement for you" one, right? Just so you can't get the usual platinum 100% completion one either.
what a long lifecycle. Players will be so happy with this.
@SPArcheon-onstrike I think the (admittedly delusional) idea behind that is that you try to make friends or find likeminded individuals to complete those achievements
And I can honestly agree that it is WAY more fun to play multiplayer coop games with friends instead of through matchmaking
@Nzall it is still the same problem that haunted online random co-op since the dawn of internet gaming.
You only need a single idiot that has no clue about what they are doing or is actively seeking to harass people to ruin the experience for everyone.
and now "action games" maker joins RPGMaker
10:07
.....
And the idiot event award goes to....
7 days, every day you can choose to either get 100 gems... or have a 10% chance to get 600 but get just 50 if you fail.
But wait, during the event 20 lucky players who gambled will get 500K gems (that is about 6000$ worth of gems).
And it gets better:
Mihoyo will be idiot enough to provide (partial) info about the winners.
so, basically... you win the prize, they paint a nice red "X" on your back for stalking and doxing purposes
And before someone says "this is just partial data"... remember all those sites you though were safe where you can view other players achievements/characters?
@SPArcheon-onstrike There are roughly 25M Honkai players. So if half of them do the gambling, that's a chance of 1 in 625,000 to get 500K gems. That's less than 1 gem on average
10:24
@Nzall I think you got it wrong. Assuming you gamble everyday you are at least guaranteed to get (50 * 7 ) = 350 gems. But that is half what you can get by not playing.
the 500K super prize... makes little sense to call an "average" there
@SPArcheon-onstrike Thing is: assume for a moment that the event lasts 10 days and is 9X 50 followed by 1 600 for the random chance. That would be an average of 105 per day
So on average the raffle would be more profitable already than the guaranteed event
Also, the chance of getting at least 1X the 600 proc over that 7 day period is 52%
So the raffle is just a bonus
@Nzall Oh, that I get. To be more precise, it should be around 52.17% (ignoring the influence of the "superprize" since it isn't clear how that was calculated)
but it also means that a) you have to trust them on the rates (but if you don't, then playing a gacha in the first place isn't exactly a smart move) and b) about 48% players lose every day and will rant on reddit / discord / twitter
chatgpt.com/share/67a1ec4b-1700-8010-b955-fc22cd71271a For reference, I asked ChatGPT to do a reasoned through analysis of what you shared (yes, I double checked the logic and the math).
Doesn't seem that smart to upset about half your players
But really, that wasn't the point.
my point is that sites like this do exist.
@SPArcheon-onstrike If I was MiHoyo, I would put in some hidden bad luck protection so every player who participates in all 7 raffles gets a guaranteed 600 proc on the seventh day if they haven't gotten one beforehand
Wouldn't be out of the ordinary for them considering their normal daily pulls already have that sort of thing
10:35
Again, forgive me for shifting the focus but my main point is that sites like [this](https://hsr-statistics.com/en-us/) do exist. You can access lists of active players and cross reference their names and UID.
I am pretty confident that with a few hours to waste, I could find out the game identities of the winners since Mihoyo was so idiotic to post their partial data.
And apparently it already happened.
I saw multiple messages that seems to indicate bad actors already tried to dox the identities of the winners.
Basically this painted a big red cross on them.
10:48
Meh, there are awful people out there everywhere. There are also US states and certain countries where government regulations regarding lotteries and raffles require public publishing of some identifiers
Those rules are intended to ensure that lotteries are won by real people
11:00
@Nzall ... only issue is that Genshin had a similar event once and no winner info was published.
@Nzall PS: just for added context.
someone tried to assassinate Liu Wei... over a bunny suit video
