I find funny that our strike happens pretty much at the same time as reddit's

Not only it presents the product as something that causes addiction and cartoon-like caffeine overdose effects. It also manages to inflict headache on the player.

Yeah thats a part of Isaac I remember not liking: its a roguelike but damn does the swing when you get the good stuff and when you only get the bad stuff is huge

Just imagine some of this while you are trying to do "solar system", a challenge that replace Isaac tears with an orbital that has close to zero range.

To me that is the difficult thing with developping a roguelike. Every run is different, but the dice should not decide if the game will be a pushover or will be dark souls

Host is already horrible when all you have is an orbital, now imagine the host MOVING

@Fredy31 Well, it is clear that Isaac USED to have some balancing.

the older bosses even show signs of an AI that tries to avoid to be unfair.

Larry for example very often turns back right in front of you if you are stuck in some places where you could not evade it if it moved perfectly

then at some point something changed.

Ether Edmund started to dislike his own players (see the dataminer issue) and became toxic or he has no idea of how badly luck influences the game.

If anyone remembers how the Forgotten is unlocked, just know that in Repentance Pyromaniac/Host hat no longer work and the stomp is faster to the point it is sometime almost unavoidable (in an empty room, in a room with enemies it is sometime completely unavoidable)

And how to forget the "Delete this" challenge
