so, recently PS5 consoles are available in most EU stores at regular prices.
And I am left wondering...
First, can I hope this means that most of those bastards scalpers have just lost ton of money on consoles that now no one will buy from them? Serves them right.
Second... I find a tad odd that Sony was able to materialize thousands consoles out of thin air just now, after Christmas went thru with the usual "out-of-stock" thing...
So, anyone else see this "sudden comeback" a little suspicious? Like they are desperate to sell console before something big could divert customers on other brands?

I feel like that might be a bit too conspiratorial

@Nzall I know. But it fells so odd for the PS5 to just become actually buy-able NOW.
And if there is one competitor game Sony is probably scared of...

saw this comparison for the same game on ps4 VS switch.

12:40 PM
ps4
switch
I get the worse lighting, the grainy edges etc...
but... did they really had to remove the floor lights?
weird.

@SPArcheon idk, think it might be that they needed the chips that had a shortage and that bottle neck cleared
demand might have slowed too because its not christmas

@Fredy31 possible, but the "Rats, what we do, Zelda is coming out soon everyone will buy Switch" thing has its own share of merits.

might just be that demand is down because the switch is currently in the spotlight

Atlas, unrelated, I love how the UK Nis store tries to redirect me to the EU Nis store... where half the games aren't available.

but I highly doubt that sony skipped christmas, which is the most profitable parts of the year by far, for a weird hit on nintendo

Why do you try to send me to the EU version if Monster Menu is only available on your UK store?? :P

3:36 PM
Cant remember where I saw it, but if i remember right 66% of console sales in a year are in oct-nov-dec

@Fredy31 true, but 99% oc Switch sales are when a new Mario/Zelda drops. :P

unsure
there is loads of games on switch
duh there will be spikes for mario zelda, but I'd say its also true for any first party nintendo franchise

Q: How to improve watering crops in Stardew valley on beach farm?

LDLwarrior2I have lots of crops on my farm in Stardew Valley and watering has become a huge problem, I can't get sprinklers either because I am on a beach farm. Does anyone know how I can automate watering without sprinklers or at least make it quicker? Also I am on Nintendo Switch if you need to know.

> SENTINEL CAPITAL SHIP BATTLES
Sentinel capital ships, deployed to counter extreme citizen insubordination in space, can now be damaged and even destroyed. Defeat a Sentinel freighter to claim victory in space combat, forcing nearby interceptors into retreat and earning high-value rewards.
ooooo, curious how these actually play out. might be a step closer to seeing like fleet on fleet conflicts in single player
like i said it before but those repeated booms you hear when multiple fleets comes into a system shouldn't be "oh, huge shop appear". it should trigger wanting to see what's happen because you don't know if it's just a buying opportunity or if a fleet/armada is coming to sweep the system or preparing for another battle
