Q: How can you steal the SINS core in Syntax Error?

UnionhawkOne of the heist specific challenges for Syntax Error is to steal the SINS core. However, even when the core is completely shut down in loud, it's still protected by a dome of bulletproof glass. How can I steal the SINS core?

Q: How do I free this fish person from their cell?

StevoisiakIn the Subterranean Grave I encountered a room with two people in cells. One looked like a panda and the other looked like a blue fish person. I was able to free the panda by hitting a switch, but I can't find a way to free fish person. How do I free the fish person from their cell?

The map's animated now!

@Ronan I noticed that. That's so nifty.
@Ronan I think I need to finish 12.2, 13, and 14 first
Also, I should be doing more checks before sending light because 16.2 took longer to finish than I first expected even with putting everything in async calls.
But it still finished pretty quickly with the correct answer so I'm not complaining. Just a tonne of potential optimizations.

release mode finishes in 114ms, so meh
Also, I'm glad that there's more opportunities for lightweight threading/concurrent processing this year.

Well, the good news is if I ever do get my new 12.1 solution working, it'll result in 12.2 being instant.
but I've still got some bug I can't track down
The bug being that the following returns 4 instead of 10:
> ?###???????? 3,2,1
My original function works right, but making it work with caching is uh, not ideal.
19:44
okay, actually changing the string some and printing out is helping. Got an idea what's going on now. Just need to figure out the why.
19:58
ohhh that's my mistake
of course
20:14
Well now it works with test input, but not my input.
On the bright side, since my old function stil lworks, I can easily find which rows arne't parsing correctly.
ah there we go
Finally. Day 12.2 completed.
21:10
I just got caught up. I switched to Python, because it's a lot easier to represent the kind of operations you want to do for these problems
21:32
@murgatroid99 I've been doing some in Python, and some in C#

@Wipqozn Are you using regex or string splitting?
@MBraedley Neither
well I'm fucked then
What are you doing?
Actually maybe you could call what I'm doing string splitting.
Essentially I'm crawling through the string left to right. I examine the first character. If it's a "." I strip it off, and pass on the rest of the string. If it's a "#" I do checks to ensure I fit the group there, and if so, I strip off the first N characters (where n is the size of the group + 1) and pass on the rest of the string. If it's an "?", I do both.
@Unionhawk @Memor-X posted a video of it that earlier. It's hilarious.
