😱😱 rain rain go away!! Hurricane Ian's remnants might hit Pennsylvania some but that won't be for a bit, if it does at all. It'll probably be just some rain showers.

Not worried - just saying. The last time a hurricane had an actual impact on the part of PA I live in was like.... 2013 or 2014?? I was working night shift at the local grocery store, and 15 minutes before the store closed for night at 11pm, the power went out. Which meant we basically had to empty ALL of the refrigerated/frozen cases in the entire store and try to cram as much as possible into the backroom coolers/freezers.

The backup power generator for the store only powered some lights, and the cash registers/network. It was literally a chevy Vortec V8 engine converted to run on propane.

I remember some hours into the power outage I started to get hungry and my manager (who had to drive over an hour in the terrible weather conditions to get back to the store) told me to just grab whatever the hell I wanted off the fridge sections, since it was all going to go bad anyway. I ended up eating a lunchable lol

That might have actually been hurricane Sandy maybe.... 2012 that would have been.

Power was out for I think 2.5 days for us

I did it!

I replaced the battery in my PTS!

I still need to seal it back up, but I reinstalled the motherboard and the screen and it boots up and everything works

I HAVE POWER AGAIN!!!1!
