Q: What does the embossed text say on the "empty milk bottle" in Fallout 4?

WiZΔRDI know its a trivial detail, but I'm genuinely curious and struggling to find the answer. Screenshot from in-game: Fandom page's image: The Fandom page had a better, larger picture, but I still couldn't tell what it said. However, the description of the item says: The empty milk bottle is a cy...

Q: Elden Ring - How to apply the Seppuku buff on *both* weapons?

PinkTurtleI was playing yesterday with this guy and he applied the Seppuku buff on both his weapons (as you can see - dual Falchion I think). How? I am dual wielding 2 spears and both have the Seppuku Ash of War on them.

Q: Is this question about modding on topic?

stevecI cannot answer a simple question: how do people mod games if the source code hasn't been made public? This has been a point of interest for me lately. Unfortunately Why isn't it the norm for gaming developers to make source code public for very old games was off topic. I wonder if the following ...

@SepiaLazers I feel like this might be more of a game dev question

Ugh, 29 days til new car day
Waiting is the worst
@SaintWacko What did you buy?
@Wipqozn 2022 Kia Forte GT-Line, with all the fancy packages
@SaintWacko My Forte was a good car to me, but after 12 years it was time to replace it.
but why didn't you go EV?
@MBraedley Yeah, I'm in a 08 Chevy Impala right now. Not the best time to replace a car, but the impala is kinda on its last legs
@MBraedley I just don't feel like the infrastructure is there yet
It'd be fine for getting to work and back, but I'd at least like the ability to go on longer trips
It is, and it's only getting better. How often do you drive more than 250miles in a day?
16:26
I did look at PHEVs, but those get more expensive
and on a route without a DC fast charger?
They also tend to be more expensive than what I'm looking to spend
@SaintWacko But energy and maintenance costs are way lower. Gas and maintenance made up 60-70% of the total cost of ownership for my Forte, and it'll be less than half for my Bolt even if I keep it for longer.
I guess the better measurement is annualized costs, and the only way that it'll ever be more than the Forte is if I have to replace the battery pack.
Annualized cost of tires is going to be slightly higher (I expect to get about half a year less per set for both the all seasons and winters, and the LRR winters are a bit more expensive anyway), but regular maintenance is about a third and all other maintenance is less frequent.
And energy $/km is about a quarter or third considering the price of gas right now, and in the long run won't be more than half.
16:43
Hmmm... What year Bolt do you have?
Do you have a home fast charger?
2019 (bought it used), and I installed a level 2 charger
How much did the level 2 charger cost you?
@SaintWacko the unit itself was ~$1000, but has some extra features above and beyond what's strictly required, and about $450 to install it (which was more than it should have cost)
those are taxes in too
17:10
Hm, I'll have to keep an eye on used Bolts

Q: Where can I find the Arquade ufo animation?

LeoI always seem to miss it :( It's the one in the top right with the UFO and antenna and it sometimes shoots lasers.

@SaintWacko I've got a PHEV and god its great
but it helps electricity in quebec is dirt cheap
But yeah we have to gas the car like, once for the whole summer?
40-45 KM is enough for most people's commute
And I can get to my step parent's home 45 minutes of highway away on electricity. Will fall on fuel on the way back
I really want to get a Chevy Volt, but a second-gen one, without too many miles, and with the features I want is just a little out of my price range
but its the best between both options. Like my parents got the full electric, but forget doing a Montreal to Toronto road trip with it, except if you plan to eat somewhere on the way to get a charge
Yeah and its also can you afford the upfront cost of a brand new car
was the thing on /r/quebec for last week. People saying you pay back the difference in 2 years buying electric... and people just telling them not everybody can afford a brand new car at the drop of a hat
but yeah really wonder what the used electric car market will look like
But to note with PHEV: If you start the heating in your car, the motor starts
that threw us for a loop the first winter

@Fredy31 And that's my one reason not to get an electric. I'd like to be able to take longer trips without having to worry about where I can find somewhere to charge, and without having to add a couple hours to transit time to factor in charging
@Fredy31 And that
