listing to YongYea's video about Artifact tanking and when he was talking about how he speculates that Valve doesn't release games like they used to because they make so much money from Steam

i just wonder if this is because they are a public company and thus have to keep making more and more profit and if they had been private (and they were making the speculated obscene profits from Steam) they'd be more willing to funding more teams to experimenter and make games which is what i would be doing if i was making a whole lot of money

or maybe Steam costs a whole lot more to run and Valve just makes a tiny trickle which takes years before they can fund a new game to develop

Nope, there's a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and then a Saturday/Sunday. So for me, Tuesdays are magical because I get the Sat/Sun (I'm at work but not in my office so I dont' see it), the Monday AND the Tuesday.

Fair. Challenge platformers aren't really my thing, but Assist Mode makes up for a lot. (Also, I haven't played it on switch; the controls on PC are quite straightforward)

The Summit definitely has the best music, and I love the overall design, but I also have yet to get through the feather-heavy final sections without assist mode.

@Ash it might be! It's a fantastic and cute game, and it has Assist Mode options that let you slow down the game, have infinite airdashes, or the like

(and it doesn't judge you for using them either, unlike some games I could name)

Yeah, I've just been playing vanilla so I had to build a freezer room. That was annoying.

So you don't have to a have a whole chilled room for it

This is obviously more expensive and uses more power, but it lets me have food storage right next to my butcher and cooking stations without them having the temperature debuff

There is no point to put sun lamps on open areas since they shut down at night

@Ash oh, definitely not. I mean, it's very much a challenge platformer in the sense that doing difficult platforming is 100% of the gameplay, but they also went to a lot of effort to make it accessible for people who have trouble with that for whatever reason

What you can do is replace one of the back walls with a cooler and freeze the room.

Low temps dramatically reduce explosion chance.

I think there's a power switch you can build but that requires active management.
