I'm not sure if you are familiar with the culture, but it's not unheard for people in Korea and China to spend days in internet cafes.
I can't remember how often it is, but it's definitely occurred more than once, where a person has been found in an internet cafe dead after gaming for days straight.
Gaming culture is a lot different in the East, partially because of how games are typically consumed.
> Distributing computer programs, apparatus or device not provided or approved by a game products related business entity for the purpose of disturbing normal operation of game products, or producing them for their distribution.
I'm seeing a similar text and that's possibly the violation cited. But no news article is really going into depth on the particulars of the case.
Probably the most important clause is "in order to disturb normal operation of game products or producing them for their distribution".
Or from your text, "for the purpose of disturbing normal operation of game products, or producing them for their distribution".
So the violation was for A) making a hack, B) distributing the hack for the purpose of allowing other people to use the hack, and C) selling the hack.
All three had to be true.
But I am not a lawyer, let alone a South Korean lawyer, let alone a South Korean lawyer specializing in the field of game law.
Interestingly, you could argue that Overwatch itself is in violation of the clause "Game products having a view to harming customs by destroying family morals, such as assault on, homicide of or such, of an familial ascendant or descendant" by virtue of having both Ana and Pharah in the game.
It's a dumb argument but I think it could technically be made.
Sorry that this has become so polarizing, I didn't really expect that. My original motivation really was just that software IP laws and co. tend to be bad regardless of how they're being applied today
Things are a bit different but we don't really know what the deal is
@Wipqozn Manus is probably the easiest boss for SL1 since you can just suicide in his boss room and then plink him to death with a gajillion wood arrows from outside his fog gate.
Platform: Ubuntu(preferred) & Windows dual boot
Java version: In Ubuntu OpenJDK 8, In Windows Oracle Java JDK 10/8 (tested both, here talking about 8, Java 10 has 10 fps improvement).
Why Ubuntu, well Java on Ubuntu is so much faster. Compare 50 fps in Windows min settings and 110 fps in Ubuntu...
I wondered what the smartest way was to make bank accounts in my minecraft world. I originally thought of using /setblock commads and pistons, so using blocks to represent "tokens", but I wondered if there was a way you could use variables in minecraft and if so, how. If not, what is the best way...
I've upgraded quite a few things in the Foundry. However... None of them are actually in effect. Do I have to do something in addition to letting the Engineers spend some time on the project? Or is the game effed?
I'm trying to clear a Birch Forest for a future Minecraft Roleplay and /fill x1 y1 z1 x2 y2 z2 log 2 replace air doesn't seem to help. Could it be because I'm playing in 1.12? I think it will take me a while to just fly around using Fire Charges
(TIL that bears have favorite specific trees to use for scratching their backs, and will travel far after waking from hibernation to get to the best trees)
I'm trying to use the emulator Nestopia with my Bluetooth Xbox One S controller. I'm able to use the controller completely fine in other games and emulators, but for whatever reason when I'm binding the buttons for Nestopia, it doesn't detect that I'm pressing Start or Select. Every other button ...
