the challenge is that players with all the IOTMs and whatnot can generate ridiculous numbers of turns each day, so they keep trying to figure out how to best limit that

Like, I was hoping for "Starscape but with more variety and less grinding" and instead it was "Starscape with more variety and WAY WAY MORE grinding"

Which is a shame, because I liked Starscape until I burned out on grinding asteroids for minerals so that I could upgrade my flagship so that I could actually proceed with the game proper.

@ToxicFrog Not much because you get only a certain number of turns per day. I mean you can kinda minmax all over and add more turns by eating/drinking (as long as you don't get drunk) and such but like I just poke at it a little every day

built in stuff has chat commands and macros

you can use it to automate a little bit

some community people have written greasemonkey scripts that run in the browser to help with other stuff

but the AMAZING thing is a community built java app called kolmafia
