Raids operate on a weekly lockout, so that's not really the case either. Unless you're grinding every raid from every previous expansion for transmog, but that's not considered "hardcore raiding".

Each unique raid can only performed once per person every week.

Back to the WoW thing, sidestepping the whole impossibility of a "hardcore" raid taking 14 hours, there's no way that those 14 hours are spent playing non-stop.

Even during a long raid, there's cycles of low and high activity. After you wipe on a boss, you most definitely have time to take a bathroom break. Most trash pulls don't require everyone on the ball, you can take a bathroom break then.

Any raid leader that requires everyone's nose to the grindstone for 14 hours straight full-attention either doesn't exist or is the only person in that guild/raid.

My fiancé and I recently bought a WiiU and bought Mario Kart 8. While playing, I use the WiiU's gamepad that has a screen on it and she uses a gamepad plugged into a wii-mote. I usually play by watching the game on my game pad's screen rather than watching the tv due to a weird depth perception...

got the True End in Persona 4 Golden last night. given that there is Persona 4 Arena, Arena Ultimax and Dancing All Night there's that good feeling that the Investigation Team wont be split up for long.

Plus there's some hints in-game that Ulfric is actually backed by the Aldmeri Dominion as part of a plan to weaken the Empire.
