Since I could walk through it, I didn't think I could stand on it.

The bosses are pretty fun so far.

The non-boss combat is ok.

Actually, the combat in general is ok.

The bosses are mostly puzzles, though, which is neat.

@StrixVaria Also I dunno if you noticed but you can repair the mana heater in the room with the frost boss to stop the constant health loss of cold temporarily.

I didn't notice that until after I beat him...

I'm not a huge fan of the quarter-circle joystick motion to dash.

Coming from Guacamelee, where there was a button to dash, it's pretty unwieldy.

If we're really being honest here, the best Castlevania game is Castlevania II Simons Quest, and I WILL BROOK NO ARGUMENT OF THIS SUBJECT.

But it isn't a 'metroidvania' in the classic sense in a lot of ways.
