Okay, here's a super basic example of what it is which isn't practical at all. Let's say you just wanted to find two numbers which add up to 4, and that (hypothetical) our computers today were NOT able to figure that out on it's on, but could confirm any solution you gave it was a correct.

That is, if you gave a computer the numbers 1 and 3 it would be able to say "yeah, 1+3=4". But if you just said "Give me two numbers that add up to 4" it would take a really, really long time to do it. If N=NP is true, then that means there is a way for a computer to quickly discover two numbers which a…

How do I hide the Menu Bar in Batman: Arkham City GOTY? It shows up when I am full screen. I've searched the preference file and didn't find a relevant key nor can I find an option in the start up menu for the Menu Bar.

Q: What is the penalty for running out of HP in Monster Manor?

In Monster Manor (a.k.a. StreetPass Mansion), what are the consequences of running out of HP? Do you have to start the game over, or do you lose some amount of progress, or what? So far I've only seen one serious fight and I'm on the fourth floor, but I don't know how cautious I should be.

Q: How to turn on the light in the dark room on candy box 2?
