I think we just need to face the fact that we're elitist (in the best way possible) and that some of these people aren't going to want to join the community in a way that is productive.

@agent86 We do promotions, we get a lot of questions, some of them suck.. This doesnt seem to be anything new or anything that requires us to get our fur up about? :)

That's something that amazes me more than the quick amount of questions, actually. It suddenly feels like we're on Stack Overflow the way these questions are getting 3-5 answers in mere minutes.

And I think with ME3 we managed to pretty much exhaust a very large part of the possible question space within two weeks.

@Mana I don't know. On one hand, it does represent a real problem in team based games. On the other hand, I don't think it's the kind of question we can answer. How you raise someones moral varies from person to person.

Well, ideally, the edit would come before closure.

Creates less tension usually.

The OP will need to ask a new question.

That's one of the reasons for close - > edit, to prevent answers which won't apply to the fix.

(Not saying this is a good question, but that's not a reason for it to be a bad one.)

@Wipqozn while I agree with the comment, when someone's incensed there are ways of responding which lessen the emotions, and ways that increase the emotions... this is sadly an example of the latter.
