@Sterno They're very different things. I always try to do commentary/review stuff and show off the game to give a good impression of it but not just a "walkthrough"
And for some games a text walkthrough is pretty useless
@OrigamiRobot Yeah, LeBlanc has a similar ability, but hers simply triggers whenever she hits low health. A bad LeBlanc very easily telegraphs which one is the real one, though.
I don't know if you buffed me because you missed Ashe or what, but I did enjoy the buffs, haha
@FallenAngelEyes I know. It was also my first time playing him. It was also my first time playing a melee champion. The cards were stacked against me liking him.
@Sterno eh, multiplayer tends to be repetitive :P there will be enough people around here with ME3 that you can probably find a couple to do enough of the co-op junk that you'll get tired of it :)
@GraceNote sadly, since I'll be on my xbox, I'll have to find some people who want to xbox the co-op with me. That, or goad my usual co-op partner into buying the game, although he's got an anti-ME streak that runs pretty wide...
How many people actually signed up for the game grant? And the KOA contest... there were times when I couldn't even find the contest announcement (outside of the separate one on meta) and I already knew it existed. I like the game grant and contests, don't get me wrong, but I wonder if we're actually getting the word out to people who aren't already on the site a lot.
Looking at friends (with Apple devices) screenshots of Tiny Towers, there are small differences between the iOS version and the my version - the most obvious being star icons to indicate dream job assignments.
Roughly how far behind is the Android version? How long ago did these stars start app...
Everywhere I look, there are TWO basic trainers for each skill. Can one use both of these trainers if they spaced their points properly and were ellidgible by level?
Example Coming from IGN:
(0 to 3) Lyceum Grove in City of Ysa
(0 to 3) Molly Janick in Blue Bear Tavern in Emaire (western Fors...
> Hello! Are you using Nvidia BETA drivers 295.51, or manually update PhysX to 9.11.1111? That version of PhysX actually break the game, and I’ve confirmed that other games were broken by it too. Rolling back to either a previous Nvidia video driver or installing the previous version of PhysX will resolve the problem. The last known working version of PhysX for SOL: Exodus is 9.11.06.21

I hoped we'd actually reached a point well past the sucky "don't upgrade your gfx drivers unless you need to" mantra
Shao Kahn is harder in Mortal Kombat 9 than ever before. I fought and defeated him using Liu Kang using fireballs of course and staying away from him. But with Raiden he is even harder to defeat since it's like playing on Expert difficulty on Ladder Match mode.
I have tried all I can, fireballs ...
It looks like it's possible to get multiple of most common monsters - are there any that this isn't the case for? Are there any I need to be careful not to waste the limited supply of on infusions, or any that can be missed entirely?
When I try to create the tag pro-c for Pro*C, I am told:
You are attempting to create the tag pro-c ; however the tag proc already exists!
proc indeed exists but it is a Ruby thing.
What tag should I create? oracle-pro-c?
I've been buying "Improved" and "Greater" tier components from merchants, especially the blacksmithing merchants in Rathir. I was hoping that once I got to the eastern continent I could find a merchant that sold "Master" tier components. However, there doesn't appear to be a merchant of this ty...
He had one where he whirled it in a circle over his head, which would launch opponents, and he had one where he did the 360 spin and swung it around like a baseball bat, which also launched them.
the "whirled it in a circle launch" might have been his 66A.B, where the first hit would stun and the second would launch - they removed that (the first hit still stuns, but the second is a downward vertical instead of a launch)
@GnomeSlice there are run counters and attack counters - run counter is when they're doing 8-way run (sidesteps or actual running), attack counters are hitting them while they're attacking
I've bombed my way to the pink... liquid in the middle of the catacomb, I've connected it through rails to my base... but nothing seems to happen. Shooting at it doesn't do anything either, although turrets do target it... Bombing does nothing...
What am I supposed to do with it?

I'm booted off G...which is a clone of C. H is the clone of D meant to replace it, but when I change the letters with the DVD, they won't really change. :(
Is there any way I can create a dwarf fortress world with no brooks, or at least fewer of them? Some specific settings in worldgen, maybe? I like to use bridges as chokepoints, and the streams as barriers to invaders, but it's very difficult to find a good embark site with anything other than a b...
The in-game text seems to suggest that I can just throw Mog wherever, and sometimes he'll bring me back useful stuff. I've tried it a few times (mostly on accident) and have gotten things like 1 gil. Is it just a random chance to get something rare? Does the world I'm in at the time or anythin...
I can pay Taj 20 banana coins to unlock the silver coin races (where you have to collect a certain number of silver coins on each track). I liked playing them on the N64 version, and find them to be more interesting than the balloon gathering touch challenge.
Is it worth paying to unlock these?...
Fix the Harvester crash bug. The reason it crashes is that it’s trying to use the synchronized random during the render step (will cause de-synchronization in multiplayer!). Try to fix this (and synchedRandom should still be null during rendering) :) Fix the players receiving the other player’s score.
dear people - please pay attention to the tags on a question! I am not adding the ds to my diddy-kong-racing questions for the heck of it - the games are different! sigh
@Fabian the platform-specific tags have previously been used exactly for this reason (and only for this reason - they should be added only when the platform indicates a difference)
user15026
@OrigamiRobot Yup, I did. Got told to add the platform tag.
Last game my enemy killed my nydus network when I had a ton of units inside it, I tought they come out or something, but they disappeared. He killed me so I didn't have the possibility to try it out what happens if I build it back.
Did those units get lost ?
I am trying to figure out which of my skills I have already visited trainers for, so I wanted to know if the symbols on the skills page represent anything or if they are just decorations. Is there an easy method to figure out which trainers you have visited?
My impression from the chat message was that the games are also different, not just some controls or so. If there are core gameplay differences, I'd use different tags, platform tags IMHO only work for stuff that is obviously platform-dependant like bugs or controls
It's like FF3. There are significant mechanical differences between the original Famicom release and the DS/iOS release (which is why I keep asking whenever we get those questions). It's a bit trickier there, though, because only some points differ.
user15026
@Fabian They are sorta similar, because it is a DS port. The tracks, etc. are the same, but there are some things that don't work the same (the silver coin challenge, for example, is an optional unlock in the DS version).
I'm trying to start Miranda's loyalty mission The Prodigal.
My journal says to speak with Lanteia, but whenever I do she just tells me that she's "waiting for someone". What do I need to do to trigger the cutscene and get her to speak with me?
It is well known the PS Vita is not backwards compatible with any UMD-based PSP games, as it uses a different, not compatible storage media. Sony also confirmed that PSP games purchased through PSN's PlayStation Store will be compatible with PS Vita.
My question is: are all PSN PSP games compat...
In League of Legends, you can buy skins to supplement your champions to make them look awesome. A category for these skins include one called legendary skins. These skins rework how the champion works, how their skill animation looks and their voice overs. But they cost 1820 riot points (which is...
...which exactly is the question, I'm not sure what the "really vague" is in regards to, in fact that was the most certain part of the whole Q & A they linked
@FallenAngelEyes I wouldn't pay too much focus on that aspect - the main core is the main question. The list is something that would be nice but we cannot maintain on our own.
Yeah, but the actual bit about PSN games being playable seems complete. The "list" actually seems totally unnecessary, it's just a list of US PSN releases...
> Sorry Michael, I was flooded with applications in the end and completely lost track to be honest. I'll sort you out a VIP subscription for your troubles :)
My instinct from previous games in the series tells me to try a throw, but since just guards are usually done in the midst of your opponent button mashing, the throw is often cancelled. I realize this is very character specific, but I was curious if anyone had any good general advice.
@FallenAngelEyes that matches what I've been hearing as well (listened to 3 gw2 podcasts over the past few months)... I guess anything about the game is still subject to change though
Ok, I'm gonna stop talking about GW2 now and go eat dinner or I will never stop talking about it. :| (Have I mentioned I'm super excited for this game?
@DavidB Apparently the Ash Legion story is pretty great
