Blender documentation

SO has a nice documentation feature, which blender SE could take advantage of to provide nice quality documentation

And hopefully it will lead to the guys from SO porting the documentation feature over to non SO SEs

because the blender tag really shouldn't be on stack overflow at all.

I haven't catch the point, why blender tag shouldn't be on overflow?

Because many of the questions tagged with blender are off topic.

Most of them are not even remotely about programming

Ok, I never look at overflow, certainly because I'm not in programming.

And when the people at SO realize that the blender documentation isn't really about programming and someone makes a meta about it, it could end up being moved to the blenderSE.

I think it's unlikely, I think it could be years before we get certain things despite the demand. File hosting, markdown tables and docs have been and will be delayed for years. If they ever arrive. When SE changed their name to SO they basically said we don't care about the rest of you. And I feel they never truly did to begin with. They tweak SO's header while beta sights languish from neglect. It's quite obvious where their priorities lie.

Well, I guess we will see what happens, but, if we can make a really good documentation and post a nicely worded feature request in the meta, maybe someone from SO will pay attention.
