Have a great evening :o)

godday

Panic! Half an inch of slush on the roads! Everything is coming to an end! Let’s all smash our cars into each other!
Was that your commute today? It was mine! 🙄

12:37 PM
@BobCross unfortunately that's basically what happens every frickin time it snows here

Driving past a car in a ditch this morning, I was baffled how they managed to end up backwards on the inside of the turn. Then I saw the big black mark on the barrier: going too fast, hit barrier, panicked and tank slapped off the road. I don’t want to be too mean to the person in the ditch but it has to be said: don’t drive beyond your limits.

That happens way to seldom here... But the Range Rover is made for that shit! (except that the heat doesn't work)

It has been a pretty weak sauce winter here. This is the first time that we’ve had two snowfalls in a week this year

That was one of the biggest reson I bought that car, and since it has maybe been 4 such days where I really had a use for it

Snow tires and AWD do make days like this fun when you have thebroad to yourself. Reduced traction in a turn? Try adding a leeetle more power, fiddle with the wheel and see if you get the reaction you’re looking for.
The hardest part of a lot of people seems to be “look where you want the car to go”. If you stare at that tree, you’re going to hit it

1:12 PM
@BobCross good ole target fixation

4 hours later…
5:14 PM
Right up there with pilot-induced oscillation.

2 hours later…
7:02 PM
Just allow the wrecker to come and be done with it ... Like good chicken, it's fried.
It's all over but the crying.

7:18 PM
I was surprised at how valid target fixation was once I started riding big motorbikes. In a car you have a lot of options, and even on a 750 Yamaha you can physically move in an emergency. On a Harley.. You really do go where you look!
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 that sounds a bit like a troll question... I'm feeling skeptical

7:34 PM
So... freaking... bored.

3 hours later…
10:17 PM
@3Dave - BRUDDAH! What be up?
@RoryAlsop - I'm sure it can be far worse on a bike than in a car ... Considering the bike is directly connected to the rider ... I mean, you lean one way or the other and the bike is going to follow.
