@ETHproductions Why don't you use the -P flag in codegolf.stackexchange.com/a/125581/61613
Yeah, I guess I could
I've realized recently that the standard is to count the - in the byte count as well though
Seriously?
lemme see if I can find the meta post
How does ó¥ work?
It breaks the array between items that are not equal
So [2,2,2,3,5,5] will return [[2,2,2],[3],[5,5]]
13:16
Yeah, that's interesting. I didn't know that would work
ó confused me until just know
13:29
Can you just drop the - on flags? The interpreter wouldn't recognize non-string, number, array inputs
Just assume anything else is a flag

Hey
@Tom Yo!
Tom
Tom
was running into some weird problems with compressing strings
kept giving me loads of \u000x's for some reason
among other things
13:48
Can you link an example?
Tom
Tom
can't reproduce for some reason
I think it has something to do with TIO not displaying the exact same text as the Japt Interpreter, so when copying and pasting between the two things got messed up
TIO is using v1.4.4 of Japt so there may be inconsistencies and features missing. You can access v1.4.4 of the interpreter here. But I suggest you use the v1.4.5 of the interpreter over TIO to give you access to the latest features.

Wait, I am an idiot
But also not
The problem I was having was with having the -Q flag on when testing
I didn't realise that it converted some symbols to their unicode values
14:15
Ah, yes, that it does.

Suggestion: new number functions (1) to determine if the given number n is of shape k (2) to calculate the nth k-gonal number (3) to generate an array of the first n k-gonal numbers.

undefined isn't compressing ethproductions.github.io/japt/…
Do I need to specify Non-competing on older popularity-contest challenges?
20:02
@obarakon Uh... I have no idea, why are you answering old pop-cons? :P
@obarakon Yes, that's an issue with shoco
@Shaggy Interesting ideas, I'll consider them
@ETHproductions Because breaking Japt is fun :P codegolf.stackexchange.com/a/125687/61613
20:25
@obarakon Would $delete Japt work?
$Japt=0 would work but it's not a golf challenge

3 hours later…
23:40
@obarakon Pfft! If it ain't golf ...
