@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Thanks Paul. I actually asked the question here. Basically I have viewed a car today, test drove it, everything was good as far as I can tell, but the seller wants cash only. He doesn't accept bank transfer, which is non-reversible.
I'm thinking he might be trying to run a scam with the title of the car or something, but I'm not sure. The location is Canada BTW.
@Utku - Well, I don't know where you're at, but here in the States (well, here in VA), once you buy the car, you've bought the car ... there really isn't any "give backs" either.

Realistically, though, if something doesn't feel right about the deal, walk away.

In most cases you are plopping down a bunch of money, so be careful with it ... which it sounds like you are.
Yah, I mean, most people doing that probably aren't scammers, other than to the government. They are probably trying to get around paying some kind of taxes. Or, they may not have an actual license to sell cars, so they don't want a paper trail.
It doesn't really make them scammers, at least to you.

Another red flag was that the car was washed squeaky clean. Engine too. I once read that a clean engine is a red flag as well. He might be trying to hide a leak or something. The car test drove good though.
@Utku - Well, it depends ... but if it is leaking, it'll come back. Pretty easy to spot. Nothing wrong with a clean engine which is just clean though ... they tend to run better clean.
