@3Dave Almost - higher-end switches are programmable too, so you can set up things like virtual subnets. A router routes stuff from one network to another, wheras a switch switches it within the same network. A hub is, as you say, a dumb device that just rebroadcasts everything

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 I meant an 86.

@3Dave - For some reason I should have remembered that, because you've mentioned it before. Yup, for the 86, it only came with a 305 (IIRC).

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 186k miles - I think. Could've been 286k. But it'd spin that one tire all day long. I found the 85 mph speedometer a little weird, though.

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 The site feels like it's overrun by script kiddies whose sole contribution is downvoting and posting comments linking to the FAQ.
Or "Your PLM question is a duplicate of this Python question about web development, even though your building a closed-loop automation system rather than a porn site."

@3Dave - I take it that was a comment on one of your questions? Or just something you pulled out from some other question?
