@Dennis Is there a short way to round half up in Jelly?
All I've got is
æp1
Dennis
That doesn't work.
ATaco
(Does that floor? Ono)
Regardless, is there a good way to do it?
Dennis
@ATaco That's not the issue. Trailing zeroes don't count, even if they occur before the decimal dot, so
11æp1
yields
10
.
ATaco
For what i'm using it for, that's not an issue.
I'm only working with values <9
Dennis
+.Ḟ
is the shortest code I can think of right now.
ATaco

(Although 0.1 has proven to be an issue)
I feel like that should be a built in.
Dennis
There's also
ær0
, but it's also 3 bytes and rounds towards the nearest integer, preferring even ones.
@ATaco I haven't really needed it so far. What are you doing?

Before it got slammed.

@ATaco
51Ɠ÷+.Ḟ×
saves a byte, with input from STDIN.
