Q: Will "My Nintendo" allow users to

user3583166I am wondering if "My Nintendo" will allow users to (slowly) get currency for playing or buying games to save up enough to get a real VC/Wii U/3DS game. Is that even possible? Would Nintendo give demos, and then make people pay half of the original price to get the full game? Maybe a time limit f...

Sigh! Real s... l... o... w... :-(
I guess I'm the only one to enjoy this chat room. Oh, well. I don't mind talking to myself.
(sad violin music begins playing in the background)
So, self - what's the latest on the NX?
Well, self, I hadn't really been looking, so I don't really know.
(BorWal smashes the violins)
UGH! What am I doing?!? I need to get more interest from Nintendo fans. Maybe I'll take a look at some problems.
However, I'm only able to help with what I know...

Q: GBA SP screen suddenly turning darker for no reason

RDAxRoadkillHello all a few weeks ago I bought a GBA SP for well nostalgia and all that. But now suddenly two issues have come up (One which I fixed I think). Issue #1: The GBA SP suddenly turning off, checking some other sources this seem to be a battery issue. So I got a new battery and the issue is fixed...

@RDAxRoadkill It sounds like your problem has something to do with the wiring in the hinges of your Game Boy Advance SP. It's quite possible that your problem is loose or broken wiring due to either...
- Your SP backlight wiring just wore out due to the strain of opening and closing many times.
- Your SP suffered an accident (dropping on or hitting a hard surface), thus either forcing the connections to your backlight loose or breaking the wiring.
As an extra check, with your model, the AGS-001, you might want to see if the button that turns the backlight off and on has malfunctioned. It may be loose, and toggling the light when it should be off.

Q: My emulated game of Twilight Princess has a strange texture for water

Bitcoin MI have tried playing Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, GameCube version, on the Dolphin emulator. My problem is that water has weird lines over it that look like this: However, when I swim, the water shows the correct way: My biggest problem is that when I go underwater, this happens(refe...

I am quite familiar with the Dolphin emulator. I know that it has many enhancements that the GameCube itself does not provide. Therefore, I'm pretty sure that it's not particularly a problem with the general 3D-reandering graphics software installed on your computer, but the settings with Dolphin are not set correctly.
@BitcoinM Taking a good look at the pictures, I can tell that you are running the emulator on Mac OS X. I have never used Mac OS X, but I am using Ubuntu, so I'm pretty sure it can't be that different.
Try to see if you can change to a different 3D renderer (Linux uses OpenGL only, while Windows can use OpenGL and many versions of DirectX. I'm not sure what Mac OS X uses, which is why I'm proposing this).
Then again, you might want to check your graphic drivers, just in case. Take a look at this: forums.dolphin-emu.org/…

Q: What are the button mappings for the GameCube controller when playing VC games on a Wii?

BorWalI have been playing Virtual Console games on my Wii, and I noticed that some games use different controls than the GameCube controller, which I use primarily for SNES and N64 games. However, I can't find the SELECT button... So, are all the buttons from these old controllers mapped, or are some ...

@BorWal Good question! :-P
Here I go, talking to myself again.
If anyone sees this problem, please let me know how it can be diagnosed!
Shew! I'm outta here, again!
