Q: How to compromise between performance and healthier formatting for a post?

user79161In specific, when should we leave images as they are and when should we swap it out for text? Some Context: The question I am talking about is this one, it has an accepted answer though its pretty new and here is the edit I am concerned about. The plausible performance problem: The question uses ...

Q: In sourdough bread baking what do the wild yeast and bacteria not eat during dough fermentation and why?

armansI bake bread using a sourdough starter. The starter is a culture of lactobacillus and some kind of yeast. They apparently eat the sugars or carbohydrates in the dough during fermentation but when I look at the nutritional info for fully baked sourdough bread I see 56gm of carbohydrates per 100gm ...

@Martin-マーチン , @orthocresol someone has recommended migrating this question from LifeHacks to Chemistry, but is it really appropriate on Chem.SE? lifehacks.stackexchange.com/questions/24615/…

@NikeDattani Well, no. But it has a decent answer already.
@Martin-マーチン Nice to see that, it didn't have an answer at the time!
@NikeDattani hmmm, I'm not going to add an account for a comment, but that remark about inhaling H2O2 is not quite correct though...
@Martin-マーチン I just finished reading the answer, and was worried about that too.
In any case, this wouldn't have gotten much love here - I assume.

@Martin-マーチン I thought so, I wanted to check before someone at LifeHacks tried to migrate it.
@NikeDattani Usually the moderators should know about the backchannel we use to determine whether to migrate stuff or not. Lifehacks isn't that big of a site, so it won't have migration paths, so users can suggest, but moderators have to do.
And if they try they still might fail. This actually is of bigger concern, because the asker will be sent around the sites without getting any help.
I mis-used the word "migrate": the OP might have been coaxed into deleting their own question at LifeHacks and moving it to Chem.SE, so I left a comment saying to keep it where it is.
@NikeDattani You can#t blame a user for trying that too. The effect might be more devastating, too. Thanks for adding the comment though.
