Is there any way for a mod to retrieve an edit that was auto-blocked as spam? I edited this answer to add a Markdown table (keeping the image as a link); the edit was rejected as spam and I can't suggest edits anymore. (I'm the anonymous editor who changed the MathJax tables of the other two answers to Markdown ones)
I might just re-write all the work and link it here? agh. I want it to be edited because I've seen it.

I'm afraid you'll have to respect the decision of the moderator. I am not a moderator by the way.

Hm
I am not a friend of MathJax; however, that change destroyed the correct typography of the individual entries.

@bobble (and @cngzz1) It's not a moderator decision, as far as I am aware.
I cannot even see that you ever made an edit to that post. So, unfortunately, there is no way for me to retrieve it. Would you consider making an account on Chemistry, so that your contributions don't get lost?
By the way, for multiplication you should use the times symbol × (U+00D7), not the letter x.

In response to multiple messages: sorry about the x-vs-times-symbol, I'm not interested in making accounts for sites I would only be editing, and I'm not sure what typography was destroyed?
I pop around to a bunch of sites for editing, but I only have accounts on sites that I expect to be an asker or answerer on.

The smaller the width of the dislocation, the lower is the interfacial energy but wider the dislocation the lower is the elastic energy of the crystal because then the atomic spacing in slip direction is closer to its equilibrium spacing.
What are elastic and interfacial energies in the context?
17:06
@FadedGiant I see some things have simply not changed here at all.

@CowperKettle I don't get it. Why did the line width change?
18:55
@M.A.R. When there is no observer, there is quantum interference ))
Although I'm not sure that this recreates it rightly

@bobble That's a perfectly fine choice, it just means that I can't help you in this case, sorry.
Bit of a shame, as I'm guessing that was a substantial chunk of time that went into that edit. :/
