@1,3-feeds what to ask this time regarding homework questions? Meta has been relatively quite on homework these days, as compared to last election time.

@GaurangTandon You can ask what ever you like. If some one asks another one, the community can choose between the two. If you are feeling uninspired check out example from the 2016 Questionnaire Collection

@GaurangTandon I don't even know if people care about homework any more. Hence my question.
I definitely care less than I did in 2016.
Or to put it in a more polite way, I don't perceive it to be as much of a problem as I did back then.

I get that. But the number and type of homework questions received hasn't really changed, has it?
@A.K. i understand. I posted a message because I have been away far too long to know recent trends in homework. It was one of my interests back in the day (apart from editing and curation of posts). So i wanted to post a question about it, but wasnt sure what to post given there is not much in meta about it these days.
And iirc the situation on homework was different in 2016, considering the series of three posts on homework came after 2016

@GaurangTandon Objectively, I’m not sure. Are you referring to those that get closed under the policy, or homework questions in general?
I still think I would like to change it. However, I feel that there is no desire for this amongst the community, and I don’t feel that I have the energy to try to argue my point. I regret that, but real life has been very draining... I hope that we will find new moderators who are brave and willing to go against the status quo, not just wrt homework, but in general.
If I had to say something, though, I’d say that we have not come very far since 2016, both in terms of policy as well as in terms of the types of questions that we get. What has probably changed the most is the makeup of the community. As you note, there isn’t much on meta about homework now, so it’s not completely clear what the new(er) community members think about it, either.
So, if you were to ask a question, I’d suggest to just ask about something that you care about. It can be the hw policy in general, or just one particular aspect of it which you feel particularly strongly about. What other people think about it is a matter for them to deal with.
