I have noticed this question since it is in the HNQ (and the title was click-baity enough for me to have a look): Did Wonder Woman's Gal Gadot earn ~1/40th of Man of Steel's Henry Cavill?
To some extent, the question is related to gender inequality. Should tag be added to that question? Or would perhaps a separate tag related to gender inequality, glass ceiling, etc. be useful?

@MartinSleziak I don't think it is about "gender" itself, so if there is to be a tag, it should be gender-equality or similar. Do we have more than a couple of other questions to be similarly tagged to make the tag meaningful?

@Oddthinking I did not search for other examples, but my guess that this topic is very likely to come up repeatedly.
For example searching for gender gap site:skeptics.stackexchange.com returns some such questions. They are tagged with (gender).
Wow, I see that gender bias on SE has been also discussed on your meta: Are men more likely to delete a post because a woman answered?

@MartinSleziak Ha, I have no recollection of that question or that answer.
@MartinSleziak Is it just me that thinks the tag is wrong for gender gap questions?
Looking at the tag, I see some questions that are about gender itself:

MindwinArticle published by the BBC claims: Although there are no reliable statistics on how many Kenyans are intersex, doctors believe the rate is the same as in other countries - about 1.7% of the population. [source] That seems an awfully high rate. BBC does not cite any sources. Is this 1.7% ...

Some that are about ... gender in society? I need a better term.

Q: Has Saudi Arabia announced plans for a women-only city?

Andrew GrimmThere's been reports of announced plans for a women-only city in Saudi Arabia. For example: Saudi Arabia plans new city for women workers only from The Guardian. Al Arabiya claimed (on August 15, 2012) that the press release stated the city would not be for females only. This was mentioned in a ...

Q: Are women underpaid relative to men?

CasebashMany articles, such as this one, report a significant wage gap between men and women of 15% or more as evidence of discrimination. On the other hand, some sources, such as this one, claim that the gap can be explained by factors such as the following: Men being more career obsessed Men working ...

Am I the only one who wants to split this into two? (I don't want to impose my own word boundaries.) Maybe this should be a meta-question...
