Where have all of the intelligent posts gone? When I was a kid I ran a BBS (one of those Elite/hacker/Phreak/Carding BBS'). Posts on that site were intelligent, informative, and refined. People would read and re-read their posts before submitting them. Now, there are many spelling mistakes and grammar mistakes in large news websites. Posts are the internet are like flaming bags of crap.

@DanAndrews Is there a chance that you are misremembering the quality of the posts on your BBS? (See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fading_affect_bias)

@Oddthinking sadly you're probably right. However once and a while, you still find old posts from the early 90's and they just seem really well written opposed to some blogs today.
@nomenagentis I just read a well written article from the 90's and was wondering why there wasn't more of them written recently or further developed. I was in a frustrated state... I've since eaten lunch... all is good :D
Here's something well written but only 12 years ago :D oocities.org/collectumhermeticus/thoth.htm.tmp GEOCITIES! Gosh, how horrible was the platform back then.
