The answer in question provided links to definitions or forage and fodder, and an unreferenced claim from Wikipedia saying that farmers typically try to reduce costs.

But the actual substance of the answer was: "This is definitely not a full answer", "I am really not sure about the exact number", "I am quite sure", "the number seems accurate, although I have no data to prove it."

We aren't interested in your personal opinion of what the answer might be. We want answers with references to empirical data.

I understand having your first attempts knocked back can be frustrating. I hope you will hang around and have another go when you understand what this site is trying to achieve.
