@motosubatsu I was homeschooled. I'd note that you're definitely correct in that it can hinder social development, which is something I'm dealing with. As for everything else, it's definitely possible to get a decent education at home - with the level of information now available on the internet and in books, for someone who'd dedicated to learning on their own it's very possible to use those resources.
I also took the GED (American high school equivalency test), which does provide me with proof that I'm not an uneducated bumpkin if I pursue higher education. I am working with the advantage of all four of my grandparents having been teachers as well as my father, though.
