@JoeStrazzere Just an update to the diversity team I joined. I am glad I gave it a chance. They are a great source for resources I didn't even know about. I'm happy to say I was wrong. Maybe the stroke put things into perspective, I don't know. This group is really hard working and dedicated .

An edit has been made to this post making it a general question as opposed to a company specific question. It is a good question for contracting, ethics, and work etiquette, and IMO should be reopened.

I applied at a startup for 2 different positions via email. Now, I get invited for a 15-minute chat by the CEO, but it's for a different, more senior (but related) role. I'm thinking of bringing this up during the chat. Would it have been better to mention it in the email?
