I got multiple interviews and one job offer because of Linkedin, so I do think not being there hurts

I am very competitive by nature ...

I stopped using FB 5 years ago because it was too much for ... I couldn't handle the peer pressure ...

I don't have a reason to use facebook, on Linked in I just log in about once a week to turn down offers to apply for a job

I don't post anything, I am just have my CV visible and recruiters come

I get dragged into a certain way of thinking when I am in social media which is really not healthy for me ... I start comparing myself to everyone ...

I am worried that certain people (my peers, ex-classmates, etc.) would see my resume and laugh at me ...

I used to be great in a lot of things when I was younger, and then I started sucking at everyhting ...

It's like I hate seeing certain people get to a better place than me simply because their parents had resources .. as in a fuck ton of money ...

I realised that the better I do in my job, the more accomplished are my peers as well. So at some point I will automatically be surrounded by people doing better than me

It's like it hurts me sometimes ... and I am ashamed of where I am ... I should have been years ahead of myself at this point ...

You ever see a movie or a tv-show where there is this excellent basketball/soccer prospect ... just dominating the game? And then suddenly one day they get a severe injury and everything goes downhill ...
