@AIQ Bit late, but I would say "Research assistant" (RA) assuming the majority of the work was similar to a Teaching Assisttant (TA). I could see putting it down as a TA role even if you had already graduated but if TAs usually also teach themselves where you're from perhaps it's not ideal.

This chatroom isn't as active as before but we occasionally do resume reviews for people who ask. If you'd be interested you can ask here and see if one or more people would want to give you some input. I can create a private room so you're not sharing anything out in the open, but recommend you also anonymise everything of course. I'd be happy to take a look if you'd find it useful.

Note that there's nothing inherently wrong with "Personal Assistant" but a RA is a bit more specific and could potentially by seen more favourably than a PA role. Mostly depends on what positions you're pursuing.
