i realize it only now, but one thing that could have help for your research would be to filter search by wiki

such Q/A are usually made by community instead of a single person

@DarkCygnus yes, got iMac last yr. the only problem is after jobs, nothing is solid from Apple

hence I m not upgrading to latest MBP

they r awesome, when I had windows, slow start up, then if something need update restart etc etc

but lately apple has taken that approach too

Yes, I have a friend that still has an older Macbook version, that one still had CD-ROM and it runs really good

but my doubts was that, exactly, if newer versions are still sturdy..
