@Kaz The community consensus is on a different question though. The answers all agree on "summary in bold", without quite addressing "summary in large font". Nonetheless, that issue is not high on my priority list at the moment, so I will just swim with the tide.
Huh, I wrote an answer half-jokingly to a non-serious question, and scored 55 points. Not sure if that is a good thing or bad.

A: How to leave the office discreetly if you have accidentally soiled your undergarments?

Masked ManShit happens, deal with it. Here is the recipe: Enter a toilet stall in the office washroom. Lock the door. Take off outer garments off the lower half of your anatomy. Taking off garments off the upper half is also recommended to avoid risk of accidental contact with the excrement. Take off the...

Hello
I had talked about this with friend
4
Q: Having difficulty understanding meetings

Will_create_nick_laterFrom time to time when I ask question about the task, I get answer - "we talked about it in meeting" or "we talked about this before" or similar and only then getting answer. Lets talk about meeting situation. The problem is - this makes me annoying to ask question. But to do a task, I first ne...

and he says it might be because colleague does not like me
if they would like me, then they would explain me things , but since they do not, they have more interesting things to do
and it might be becuase I am unsociable, negative, with big ego
and how to loose the ego, he adviced to solve girl problems
if I would be good with girls, sociable, then I would not have problems in job
I should aproach girls
embaress myself
that way I would loose my ego
and I am afraid to look stupid with my questions in meeting becuase of my ego

@Will_create_nick_later Find better job or find better friend

I work only 5 months. This would look bad on cv. And there might be no better job in my city
there works 240 people, probably if it was bad job, there would not be so many people working

@Will_create_nick_later Anyway my point is your so-called friend is giving you rubbish advice.

aha
and why exactly do you think it is rubbish?
because it makes sence partly at lleast
when you have good social skill, you do good with girls
and good social skill is also good in workplace

@Will_create_nick_later "You should approach girls to solve your workplace problems" is the biggest rubbish I have ever heard.

:)
he said - "it just feels not good talking with you"

@Will_create_nick_later Fine, but his so-called solution is rubbish. You can become more sociable without the whole "solve girl problems" nonsense.

maybe girls is one of options, and its good at the same time to solve girl problems anyway

That is an unnecessarily complicated solution to a simple problem. To be more sociable, grow the habit of being genuinely interested in other people, and stop judging them. Accept that another person is different from you. Listen to people, try to understand them as a person.
Anyway, you are free to do what you want. It is your life.

Hi
started reading book "clean coder...." by robert martin
and here is what he writes about profesionalism
"What would happen if you allowed a bug to slip through a module, and it cost
your company $10,000? The non professional would shrug his shoulders, say
“stuff happens,” and start writing the next module. The professional would
write the company a check for $10,000!
Yeah, it feels a little different when it’s your own money, doesn’t it? But that
feeling is the feeling a professional has all the time. Indeed, that feeling is the
essence of professionalism. Because, you see, professionalism is all about taking
:)
what do you think does it make sense?
of course for employer it would be very nice
risk reduced
maybe if you earn 5000 then 10000 might not be that costly
but if you earn 1000, its 10 monts of free work
also bug can cost even more than 10000
also in some situations it is hard to say how much the bug costs
for example you create a bug, user came to website, tried, saw its buggy, and went away
how much this bug cost to the company? when we do not know how much this user on would have paid
you get the idea

Hmm, are questions that are specific to how LinkedIn is used in recruiting on-topic here? I feel like it's such a common tool that stuff that isn't in the core TOS or too specialized should be on-topic?
Considering asking about whether recruiters you connect with are able to contact you directly on the mail associated with the account, as I've seen happen a few times now. Wondering if that's a paid account privilige...
@Will_create_nick_later If you pardon the language: that's fucking insane.
There was a news article about some new game (Conan?) that was released recently. The copy protection on it was rendered useless when they released a patched version that left the copy protection out of the build.
That's probably the fault of one guy.
Would you expect him to repay the couple of million in lost revenue and money wasted on Denuvo?
Errors are a cost of doing business. The professional thing is to learn from them so they don't happen again (as severely).

That's it.
I'd recommend chucking the book if that's the kind of advice this guy is giving.
