Hey IIRC there was a 'mega' question here that listed most of the things related to hiring. (Writing CV, salary negotiation, etc.) But I can't find it, do any of you know where it is?

such Q/A are usually made by community instead of a single person

I didn't actually know wiki:yes was a filter you could do. Thanks! I also didn't know it was a wiki, but it's a perfect candidate for it.

A friendly reminder that Ubuntu 14.04 LTS end of life is this coming April (15 days), in case you have to update to 16 or 18 like myself :)

I got 2012 macbook pro

its slow and runs for 3-4 hrs

annoying

after coming from work and sitting on the screen all day long just doesnt make me want to sit again in front of other pc

sittng infront of tv is same as monitor

@DarkCygnus yes, got iMac last yr. the only problem is after jobs, nothing is solid from Apple

hence I m not upgrading to latest MBP

they r awesome, when I had windows, slow start up, then if something need update restart etc etc

but lately apple has taken that approach too

Yes, I have a friend that still has an older Macbook version, that one still had CD-ROM and it runs really good

but my doubts was that, exactly, if newer versions are still sturdy..
