I hate bullies.

@RichardU everybody does

@DarkCygnus if that were true, there wouldn't be any.

well... I think we can say that everybody hates killers and assassins, but they are still around
also, sometimes one needs a bully in your life to "help" you gain confidence in yourself and stand up for yourself

@DarkCygnus bullies don't build confidence. That's just something that happens in movies.

No, you build confidence for yourself, after being tired of being bullied and decide to put a stop to it
of course, there are better ways to gain self-confidence
@RichardU know what. I also suspect that bullies most of the time are people who where also bullied... the evil that men do, lives on and on

@DarkCygnus my experience was to lose confidence precipitously. Which only returned when the bullies were out of my life. YMMV I suppose.

Yeah, most likely it's unique to each person how they handle bullies in their lives, and to what extent does that fact affect the person @RichardU
Changing topic, it's funny how you provide a service to some client (say install a server with some webservice)
and then they think that all their other IT problems are for you to solve and fix, lol
Like, you install a server, and then call you asking why they don't have internet... (umm, have you paid your bills, sir?)

12:54 AM
have a nice weekend everybody :)

1:35 AM
@DarkCygnus I became an unholy terror to bullies :D

Hi there, this is my first time chatting here. I wanted to ask if asking a question is appropriate because I cannot decide based on help center information and questions I usually see asked.
The top voted answer currently basically says that it is inappropriate to ask a junior employee to read up on technologies they need over the weekend or on their own time in general. While I do understand where this comes from, I find that both in my professional experience and for all my peers, especially immediately after graduation, one usually "has" to study on their own to quickly get up to speed.
Would a question on this matter be accepted in this SE?
Thanks!

@GregKos It's a good question. I'm not sure if it fits this stack or not though. Im just too new here to say.
