I've seen that kind of stuff happen before.

I went one way, the bike went the other. Suddenly, I'm at 90 degrees to the ground and approaching at speed

My siblings had it easy - my mom taught them. My dad taught me.

It was back when I was 9, and I was going down a hill at ~15 MPH, and I fell off the side of my bike.

I completely scraped up my entire arm, and my knee was destroyed.

Fortunately I didn't break any bones.

But the worst I've seen is when my brother rode up on a sidwalk, didn't turn quick enough, and barreled into the brick wall of a church.

It's hard to think that that was already 5*.5* years ago.

When I was 11 (I think) went over a speed bump (slowly mind you) and the suspension locked, and I went over the handlebars

But I had orange fluid coming out of my scrapes after that.

It scared me.

Never got any worse accidents than concussions there.

(Tire swing under the deck, and I fell off the tower.)

No injury.

We would just swing as big as we could (180 degree loops) and jump.

We would sail through the air several feet, and (usually) land running.

It was taken down after several years after we held a "circus" on my birthday.
