It seems that it did not generate interest. Not many users participated here - if you look at the starred posts only a few names can be seen there.

The original plan was to post here news about various sports (each user could post about sports which are of interest to them).

One thing would be that this would create some "overview" here. For example, if you want to recall what Roger Federer was up to in the past few years, searching for federer or rogerfederer gives you some idea.

And partially the motivation was not to distract from the discussions in the Clubhouse.

Since it seems that even in the main chatroom the activity is very low - the room-info says 7 messages per week - probably the site do not have enough users active in chat to really support two separate chatrooms.

Of course, if there is interest in room like this again, in can be unfrozen or a new room can be created.

But at the moment, abandoning the room seems the most sensible thing to do.
