03:30
@fredley @RonanForman It seems that a thief has gotten into @Jigokuniku and myself's stuff.

4 hours later…
07:49
@NightExcessive What did they steal? :o
08:07
@M'vy I might have to modify that so it can get from pastebin and a random URL, I've got a small webserver at home for testing and it'd be easier to just edit files there then to continuously update the pastebin. :)
09:01
@NightExcessive What did they take?
Did they take any machines that require wrenching?
09:12
@KevinvanderVelden I saw there is a http API
@M'vy It seems to be pretty simple
We just need to supply plain/txt
I think
Would you be interested in making it a github project?
cause I'm not willing to parse HTML
@KevinvanderVelden Yeah sure! @mvy
Jeah, but id doesn't need to be served as plain/txt, it's mimetype is irrelevant :)
09:13
yeah
I mean, it has to be just text
Jeah, I think it'd be pretty cool
I think I'll hack some features into it when I get home, with your permission of course :)
If you create the project, create a team eventually?
Like stack exchange MC community
And BTW: we might be able to use github raw as our plain txt source
I'll probably hack it so you put a protocol github://project/file or url or pastebin://code
I guess we can use the tonkenizer I have already for the multiple packages
and put : p <key> -> pastebin
u <url> -> other site
I wonder how I can update the main program itself
09:32
Fairly sure they don't implement locking, just overwrite the file itself.
I'm trying to put it into himself
It works ^^
That "NSH" shell is definitely going into my list of packages
10:17
NSH shell?
Ooh nice
I wonder if that'd be possible over HTTP =p
lol
I think you can telnet servers
but not with that one
Howerver the coolest would be to be able to telnet a computercraft
10:40
isn't that already a feature of rednet? remote commands I mean?
@Jochem you think?
rednet just send / receive msg
11:02
hm, I've never used rednet myself, just thought there was already remote code execution, oops :)
11:29
ok I really need to push that on git you're right
@Kevin What is you git handle?
I want a command I can run on a turtle which via a HTTP server can use ACTUAL telnet
@M'vy I know I have one, somewhere, I'll look it up hold on
^^
And by my previous thing I meant to say so you can telnet to a RL server, and connect a turtle to the same server over HTTP and then telnet onto the turtle
11:44
Now I have to refit it for good ol' git

1 hour later…
13:11
Nice work on the git project @M'vy :)
working on the HTTP
I think I ll do:
Leave something for me to do =p
lol
there is lot to do
alias checking
remove function
those are non trivial
There's always more to do =p
for the downloads as text
13:15
Even if it's just adding new functions
I have a function that is like a wget
in fact http is pretty simple
request
readAll
write in file
Jeah, no problem there.

1 hour later…
14:45
why for f*** sake do I type vim apt/source.list in TurtleOS??!
I will alias this I think
I ALWAYS try to use vim when I program on the turtles
'course, even if there was vim on the turtle, I'd still be hopelessly lost without my own configs :(
15:03
@KevinvanderVelden I looked, surprisingly enough there is no port
... I'm not surprised at all actually, that'd be hell to port =p
Not vim, but vi, but then I'd not expect the full featurelist of vim anyway =p
@KevinvanderVelden apparently I didn't look hard enough, that's crazy
I just searched for "vi computercraft", figuring its a smaller thing to build then vim :)
anyway
I got to pick up my dad before dinner
I pushed my last commits
there seems to be a problem on apt-get update
Nice, I'm almost done at work for the day so I can look at it :)
15:11
for memo : p = pastebin, u = url, v = virtual
just get the apt-get program and the source list
then you should be able to apt-get setup
(which runs update)
but seems the packages file is not written
Maybe I should check the code result of the http request
anyway
see you this evening

5 hours later…
20:11
@Kevin I fixed the HTTP update
stupid typo
Nice, I haven't played with turtles yet today so havent looked much :(

3 hours later…
23:11
Stupid lag. :(
That's twice in a row
What google map?
Bla, oh well, I'm gonna head to bed :)
1AM already :|
See ya :)
++
@KevinvanderVelden Good night!
23:47
@NightExcessive : might be good idea to put pulverizer next to furnace to chain them if necessary
@M'vy Good idea.
