so the Cooking for Blockheads multiblock kitchen is my new favorite thing this morning

you can make a multiblock out of kitchen components, and then craft using those from a single interface. So you have a fridge for storage, a sink for water, a tool rack for the tools you need, and you can just click end-products in a list to craft them

I might have to change to doing that. Also maybe move my base upwards, I'm getting annoyed at the sky flickering colour when I jump.

Void fog isn't gradual it's just sudden

Then, when you jump, you get a Y+1 and then it just changes to a blue ocean background

If I was using full blocks I'd be exactly at blue sky level, but I'm using half slabs everywhere.

You would need to make a 2 block thick floor, with the second layer being above initial level that we start

Hmmm... The issue with making a basement is that I can't yet afford torches.

Well I can, but I need coal for survivalist generators.

I guess I could use charcoal for the torches though.

I'm using all my coal for cokes

I did that too, and now I can't use the coal for crafting.

But it's much better for fuel.

Yeah, specially because it saves some when making steel

Not to mention how good is a full block of coke in a survivalist: generates over a million RF
