No one comes to the rec center anymore. I guess it's because of all the TV the new generations watch. Everyone stays in their homes. :(

Q: Do we still want general advice questions?

Prompted by this question. A long time ago, we decided that "what should I consider"/general advice-type questions are allowed. We had at least one of these questions, which seemed to be pretty well-received. Simple question: do we still want these, or in light of more recent decisions, events,...

After all the discussion about question trends, it's becoming more of a possibility to me.

The problem I see with it is the distinction between this and technical support. We'd have to go through a lot of trouble to explain that to people

@Undo It looks to be 6 to 7, plus an answer that kind of sits on the line of whether or not to accept it (however, if you go by the last paragraph on that it becomes 6 to 9) and then 1 handle case by case

I agree with @Adam though. These are hard to filter out between "general advice" and "technical support"

I think we'll need to wait at least a few more months before acting on anything like this. Let's see how our clean up efforts change the direction of the questions being asked.

Q: Recomend me with a microsoft surface alternatives

It has to be able to run windows or linux. I haven't decided. I prefer OS that's not preinstalled. I should be able to insert sim. That way I can use bluetooth headset to make phone call. I kind of like the one without keyboard. But given that even iPad Pro has keyboard I am open minded on this...
