@HDE226868 i have a bit of a rambling piece on philology and english and the relationship between language and myth that's almost complete...would that be an acceptable submission?
it basically begins by talking about Tolkien, then touches on kennings, the indo-european language family, the evolution of english, and why myth and language are so connected using all of the above and an analogy.
