Would a pseudohistorical account of a typical day in the 21st century fit the Universe Factory blog in form of a 12-24part recurring article? I was thinking about finally dabbling in writing and give it a shot
@James I'm happy to edit. That seems to make sense, now that I've got the environment set up and the toolchain sorted. Easier than transferring to someone else now :)
Just as long as we bear in mind that I've got a fair old load of work to do these days.
@James Sure. I'd love to continue to participate. On the other hand if you want multiple guests or something on one episode I'll also be willing to not join as helps.
@DaaaahWhoosh Since you don't sound thrilled with being a speaker, what if you were our default stand-in for when we don't have a guest? Would you enjoy that more?
@DaaaahWhoosh Its up to you but for the record you input was fantastic (when I asked for your input specifically :) )
@Green I added a second post under the episode planning meta thread
@NexTerren A couple basic things stuck out. 1. Don't smack the desk for emphasis cause the mic makes weird noises. 2. When going around and asking each person the same question I needed to transition and flow better... I think I said "What've you got" which is just bad probably 8 times
@DaaaahWhoosh Your answer to "What is world-building" was probably the best single answer in the entire session.
@NexTerren I think it will probably help to focus a bit as well. I am thinking of creating a set of standard "segments" for the show, that we can mix and match.
So, Games, Interviews, Discuss A' World, Fix a listener issue. Those are the standard segments I have in mind so far.
